| Description: | Location: Facilities Department, Central Library (14th & Broadway)
This position may be scheduled at Central or at a Branch Library.
Status/Schedule: Two positions available for regular, full-time, 40 hours per week. One position available for regular, part-time, 30 hours per week. Please indicate willingness to work full-time, part-time or both on employment application.
The schedule will be determined by the needs of the department and may include day, nights, or weekend hours.

| Duties: | Duties and Responsibilities: Supports the goal of customer service by ensuring that the library environment is clean, safe and prepared for customer and staff use. Performs routine manual work involving janitorial duties and moving furniture in Library buildings.

| Qualifications: | Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Working knowledge of cleaning materials and operating of janitorial equipment. Ability to perform routine and repetitive manual tasks for extended periods. Ability to work in a physically demanding position with continuous bending, kneeling, and lifting of objects that can weigh up to 25-50 pounds. Ability to follow simple written or oral instructions. Ability to work with a diverse group of people. Ability to work independently.
Experience: One year custodial experience preferred.
Education: High school graduate or equivalent preferred.
Special Requirements: A physical examination and a background check must be passed after the offer to hire has been made. A current Colorado driver’s license with a good driving record preferred.
